On Wednesday, March 4th, Stryv365 and Brown Deer School District hosted their first tennis clinic for students interested in the sport of tennis. Brown Deer rallied 22 students ranging from middle school to high school grade levels. The evening drills were led by Dr. Brandon Currie, who is a former tennis standout at Butler University and coach of the IUPUI Men’s Tennis Team. Dr. Currie is now the CEO of Stryv365 and has returned to where it all started, Brown Deer High School.

The clinic took place in the Novak Family Fieldhouse where there were 3 separate stations assisted by peak team coaches. The clinic lasted for 2 hours and included a series of conditioning, technique, and hitting drills for varying levels. Stryv365 continues to collaborate with Brown Deer School District and plans to get more involved with Brown Deer Athletics, while also involving trauma informed coaching so students will be more equipped to deal with stress found inside and out of the athletic arena.
