KURT JANAVITZ

Kurt is currently President of Hat Trick Consulting, an independent consulting group performing managed care strategy, negotiation, revenue cycle, infrastructure development, business development and other services for health care providers and suppliers.  He has 30 years of experience in healthcare finance, strategy, operations and marketing with payers, providers, and management consulting organizations. Kurt currently serves on the Board of ADVENT Holdings, LLC, a leading-edge otolaryngology practice specializing in treatment of breathing issues.  He has held senior leadership positions with Medical College of Wisconsin, Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, GenesisCare, and UnitedHealth Group. Kurt previously worked in consulting and health care services with E&Y, Guidehouse, and Vizient.

In addition to his business experience and expertise, Kurt has served and continues to serve on numerous not-for-profit boards and in other volunteer roles in the Milwaukee community.  His current commitments include:

Prior not-for-profit Board service includes Western Racquet Club (Past President and Vice President) and American Heart Association of Southeast Wisconsin.

Kurt lives with his wife Kari, daughter Eve, and son Nathan in Elm Grove. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology summa cum laude from Tufts University in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance, marketing, and organizational behavior with honors from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1994.  He is an avid tennis, platform tennis player and fitness participant and fully recovered from a hip replacement, likely due to his overexuberance on the courts!
